Sunnyside chambre — 5a Street NW, Calgary AB (1,0-Chambre à coucher)

One bedroom and a private small living room will be available November 1st. They are located on the first floor of the house where I have lived for 20 years, in the neighborhood of Sunnyside, in Calgary, Alberta. It is fully furnished. That bedroom and living room are my own space. I am renting that space out for the period during which I will be away in South America working on a school project (November 2026 throughout February or March 2027). Therefore, I am looking for someone who is clean, tidy, responsible and respecfull. The house was built over 100 years old. It has its personality and a nice energy. It has a small front yard and a larger backyard. There will be another person staying in the basement room, therefore the kitchen, the bathroom and the laundry room will be shared with that person. This place upstairs is suitable for someone who doesn’t cook a lot, doesn´t cook/eat red meat and pork, and doesn´t use strong spices such as curry. The place is ideal for vegetarian or vegan people but chicken/turkey and some fish are fine. The living room will not be shared with the person downstairs. The house is located near the river and paths (just at the end of the street) and downtown is right on the other side of the river. Kensington is only 8 min. away walking. There you can find a supermarket, restaurants, bars, banks, bus stops and the Sunnyside train station (one station away from SAIT and ACAD, and four stations away from the University of Calgary). It is a very green and pleasant neighborhood.
