It may not be the most sophisticated neighbourhood in the world, but Canyon Meadows is rough-and-tumble, grown-up fun – with a side of historical charm.

Neighbourhood

Canyon Meadows is filled with families – most with adult children… so the best kind. Seniors are also common, but are on the younger, more active side. No doddering grandpas and drooling grandmas here. In fact, residents of all ages share a passion for fitness, adventure, and thrills of all kinds. At the same time, history, especially the local variety, is cherished… cause here in the Canyon, it’s all about brains and brawn.

Land Mark

Canyon Meadows offers excellent transportation in the form of the C-Train LRT stop. For outdoor activities, head over to the Canyon Meadows Golf Club or Fish Creek Provincial Park, which boasts several scenic trails for hiking, running, or biking. While the options are limited, there are both elementary and high schools in the neighbourhood. The options for food in the area are limited, but there are some fast food places, including a Domino’s Pizza. For basic needs, like a drug store or post office, the Canyon Meadows Shopping Centre in the neighbourhood’s north end is the best bet. Also at that end, just outside the area, is Southcentre Mall. Along Macleod are several restaurants, a yoga studio, and a handful of specialty stores, as well as a Goodlife Fitness and the Canyon Meadows 10 cinema.
