About Victoria Street

I am looking to rent a furnished bedroom in a two bedroom unit at 252 Victoria St, Velocity at the Square. Unit description: The whole unit is a two-bedroom, entirely furnished with one shared bathroom, and in-unit washer and dryer. The unit is south facing, on the 36th floor of the building, gets plenty of light, and has a large wrap around balcony with a view of the lake. You would be sharing the unit and bathroom with a male roommate. Cost: The total rent for the unit is $3063 per month, and $1530 for the unit up for rent. Lease situation: My roommate and I have been at the unit for over a year now and the lease has now moved to a ‘Month-to-Month’ situation. I have spoken with the building owners, and you would not be required to put any downpayment Location: The building is located on Victoria street, right by Yonge and Dundas square. It is a 2 minute walk from Dundas station. Easy access to multiple grocery stores. In the heart of the city. Other unit: The other unit is rented by my current roommate, a student at UofT. Building description (amenities): The building has a concierge, a large gym, and a barbecue pit on the roof. Furnished option: In my unit that is up for rent, there is a large closet and west facing window. I am looking to sell the furniture in my unit for a reasonable agreed upon price. Furniture includes: Bed frame (including mattress) Bedside table A large dresser If you don’t want part of the furniture, or any furniture at all, I am open to that and can make arrangements to sell the furniture elsewhere. Other costs: Renters insurance: $181 Key deposit: $150 Parking option: On the current lease, there is no parking spot. But if you have a car, that can be discussed with the building owners and you can sign up for one.
