About Avenue K North
Quiet, respectful home for introverted student/young adult.
I'm a homeowner in my late 20s and this is my home, so I'm looking for someone who values a calm, low-key lifestyle, not someone who's frequently hosting friends, going out to bars, or bringing guests home regularly. I'm happy to be welcoming and social with the right roommate, but maintaining a peaceful, drama-free household is a hard requirement.
If you're a student who needs a quiet environment for studying, someone who enjoys books and movies over bars and parties, or just naturally introverted or shy, this might be a great fit.
This is a safe, respectful, and accommodating space. Open to students (particularly SaskPolytech), young adults, and/or those receiving support like SAID. I'm flexible and willing to work with the right person, but personality fit matters more than anything else.
What I'm looking for:
Introverted/low-key lifestyle (this is non-negotiable)
Not frequently hosting guests or bringing people over
Respectful of a calm household environment
Self-aware and considerate in shared spaces
Ideally student or young adult
To be clear:
I'm not asking anyone to change who they are or walk on eggshells. I'm looking for someone who naturally prefers calm evenings at home, not someone who'd feel restricted living this way. I don't have guests over regularly and I'm looking for the same. The house is small and simply doesn't have space for regular visitors. Occasional guests are fine.
The space:
Small room (8.5' x 9'), Includes Twin bed and a small desk, a desk chair can be acquired as well. $600/month, utilities included, negotiable for the right fit.
Location: West side, near 33rd and Ave K (close to SaskPolytech), safe neighbourhood with easy access to basic amenities.
Includes: Internet, laundry, shared kitchen/bathroom/living room, street parking
--I'm looking for a roommate, not just income. If I can't find the right fit, the room stays empty. I'm selective and will only respond to messages that seem genuinely compatible.--
