At the edge of Calgary, Aspen Woods offers the perfect balance between city opulence and country relaxation. Residents embrace having the ability to zip into the mountains or off to one of the region’s provincial parks for an outdoor adventure any time. On the other hand, they appreciate living in a neighbourhood that’s a 20- to 30-minute straight shot down 17th Ave. to some of the city’s best dining. Skip the westward traffic and easily head out to the mountains from Aspen Woods, or stroll around the many parks the area offers.
Aspen Woods is filled with married couples and their kids. This is a diverse neighbourhood, with significant Korean and Spanish populations, as well as a smaller Chinese community. Incomes are high here. Aspen Woods also contains several daycares and schools, including Webber Academy and Calgary Academy.
There are a number of green and watery spaces in the area.
