Professional Housing Criteria: Seeking a full-time worker or student. No smoking indoors or on the balcony. Looking for a long-term renter. No pets (some exceptions may apply). About the Home & Apartment: - Clean as you go: This is a quiet, introvert-friendly space in a peaceful building. - Not a collective household: Must respect shared area cleanliness and basic house rules. - No home-based businesses allowed. - The Unit: 3-bedroom apartment; including you, there will be 3 roommates total. Rent Includes: Heat, Hydro, and Unlimited Internet. The Room: - Size: 9.6’ x 13’ (Unfurnished). - Included: Curtains, mirror, shelf, and some hangers. - Note: Bring your own bed, desk, and bedding et cetera. Shared Facilities: - Kitchen: 1 shelf per person, shared fridge/freezer, stove, and kitchen table. - Equipment: Shared dishes/cookware (some exclusions apply). - Bathroom: Shared with one person; weekly cleaning rotation required. - Closet: Shared hall closet (1/4 hanging space for jackets). - Building Amenities: Gym, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Indoor Pool, Library Lounge, Theatre, and Billiards Room. - On-site Services: Laundry, Dep, Pharmacy, Salon, Sewing Store, and Clinic. Location & Transit: - Riverfront: Immediate park access and bike paths. - Parking: Free street parking. - Transit: 15-min walk to the Montreal-side bridge; 20-min bus to Cartier Metro. Alternatively, walk across to catch the 69-Ouest to Henri-Bourassa or a bus to Cote-Vertu. Extra Expenses & Logistics: - Key Deposit: $40 (refundable; includes building/apartment keys and laundry card). - Supplies: Provide your own personal cleaning supplies. - Window Cleaning: Once per year, shared cost (to be discussed). - Mail: Placed under your door. Optional: Get your own Canada Post PO Box ($5–$38/month). APPLICATION PROCESS: (1) Virtual meeting via Zoom, Skype, or Facebook. (2) In-person viewing of the apartment. (3) Background check. Lease finalized once first month’s rent is paid and Roommate Agreement is signed in person. About the current roomies: 3 Person Household, including you. It will be 2 new Boarders for July 1st so I don't know who the others are but I am the long term leaseholder and have lived here 7+ years.
