The Spoke, a new 23-storey purpose-built rental community located at Dupont and Symington, is bringing 398 new purpose-built rental homes to Toronto\u2019s west end. Located in the Junction Triangle, <\/span>The Spoke<\/span><\/a> places residents within close reach of some of Toronto\u2019s most established west-end neighbourhoods, including The Junction, Wallace Emerson, Bloordale Village, Geary Avenue, and Corso Italia. The area is known for its mix of independent caf\u00e9s, breweries, galleries, creative studios, and access to transit and cycling infrastructure, including the West Toronto Railpath.<\/p>\n

Designed to Support Creative & Energetic Lifestyles<\/span><\/h2>\n

 
\nThe Spoke was conceived as a rental community that reflects how residents live, work, and move through the city today. One-, two-, and three-bedroom suites have been designed with flexibility in mind, with many layouts incorporating dens, spacious study areas, and additional functional space suited for remote work and day-to-day living. Select ground-floor homes also include private entrances and enclosed urban backyards.<\/p>\n

\nTricon\u2019s signature amenity collection was designed as an extension of residents\u2019 daily routines rather than a series of standalone features. Club Apex, the property\u2019s commercial-grade fitness facility, supports wellness and active living, while The Cove includes a rooftop pool, spa environment, cold plunge, and panoramic city views. The Node provides coworking and focus spaces designed to accommodate hybrid work and study needs within the building itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additional amenities include lounges, family and games spaces, a private theatre, and a music and karaoke room. The Vault, a dedicated bike storage and repair hub, reflects the neighbourhood\u2019s bike-forward culture and emphasis on mobility.<\/span>

The development also reflects the character and evolution of the Junction Triangle itself. The name \u201cThe Spoke\u201d references the spoke of a bicycle wheel, symbolizing movement, connection, and the area\u2019s active transportation culture. The project was designed to complement the neighbourhood\u2019s industrial history and creative identity rather than impose a conventional rental model.<\/p>\n

Architecture for the community was designed by TACT Architecture and Graziana + Corazza Architects, with interiors by Johnson Chou and landscape architecture by Site\/C Landscape Architecture Inc. \nResidents at The Spoke also benefit from a range of everyday conveniences, including 24-hour automated parcel lockers, a dedicated concierge and on-site maintenance team, and a custom mobile app for resident communication and services. A ground-floor coffee shop is also planned as part of the development.<\/span><\/p>\n
